Coffee Project co-lab
About This Spot
Stepping into Coffee Project co-lab at Vista Taft Residences, you immediately sense a blend of quiet creativity and warm familiarity. This is the kind of café where time seems to slow just enough to savor a thoughtful moment—whether you're catching up with friends or settling into a day of study or work. The space hums softly with the rhythm of clinking cups and low conversations, inviting a calm that’s both comforting and quietly inspiring.
The atmosphere strikes a delicate balance between cozy and artsy, with its eclectic décor weaving steampunk touches into a lively but intimate setting. Its thoughtfully arranged seating offers a range of moods: ground floor tables bring a vibrant, communal energy that’s easy to soak in, while the mezzanine offers a quieter, more secluded nook—perfect for those seeking a little distance without losing the café’s creative pulse.
Here, the menu unfolds like a personal invitation to indulge. Rich, velvety coffees and inventive frappes complement dishes that carry a touch of homeyness amid their contemporary presentation. Sipping on a dark chocolate frappe or a smooth vanilla macadamia alongside a thoughtfully prepared chicken parmigiana feels like a small, satisfying ritual. The café’s welcoming vibe makes it an inviting spot for lingering over laptop work, a study session, or a relaxed conversation that stretches into the afternoon.
While the café can fill up during busy study days, especially given its proximity to nearby schools, it never loses that sense of intimacy. The soft lighting and comfortable chairs encourage guests to stay awhile, wrapped in that gentle blend of cozy and creative that Coffee Project co-lab has carefully nurtured. Reliable wifi and charging ports add to its appeal as a local haven for the focused and the curious alike.
In essence, this Malate spot feels like a personal discovery—a place that quietly encourages you to carve out your own little moment in the city’s steady pulse, surrounded by subtle charm and thoughtful details.

Their Gyudon is so good! I think it's a bit pricey for students. Feels so homey when we got there so I think a good place to study. BUT im not sure when it's filled with students. Kawaii and very creative space.

QUAINT. Teeming of the usual steampunk Coffee Project feels—cozy, quaint, artsy, overly decorated. Good coffee and cakes. Also offers savory food. Usually busy on the weekdays due to surrounding schools. + Has a mezzanine, more (and better) seats there + Privacy-conducive tables and seats - Seats and environment on the ground floor feel crowded

Good ambiance and atmosphere are 2 of the best strong qualities of a Coffee Project store and of course this branch has it too. Food is the usual taste with good number of selections. Service is okay too. It may be hard to park here at times though. Overall, good place for a sip of coffee, work, relax and chat with friends.

I realized no one has posted a review for this cafe eversince it underwent renovation so I hope this review would be helpful. One thing I noticed immediately from their menu is that its overpriced. Especially for the beverages they offer which is "fine" because you get to use their wifi and charger ports. I think this goes to every coffee project branches, the ambience and place is the one you're really paying for and not the food and beverages. I ordered their 170php Americano and it's decent enough although for an Americano it is overpriced. They have art supplies available INSIDE the cafe. A podcast room that you can pay per hour, they also offer quiet rooms for sleeping and isolation. The decorations is really pretty in this place, perfect for studying. Their wifi is okay, not too fast but maybe it's because there's too many people right now.

It's a great place. Very cozy and aesthetic. Great ambiance and lightings, good chairs, comfy for doing online stuff with your laptop, free wifi also, password will be given in your receipt. I just didn't like how the cashier interact with the customer, a bit rude and wasn't nice. Not approachable and mataray.

I love this place... Very cozy, peaceful, friendly, and casual place where you feel welcome. It had a very intimate atmosphere, making it easy to have deep, personal conversations with your companion. A quiet place where you can study, prepare a presentation, do projects, etc. The wifi is a plus. The staff are very warm and friendly. The coffee and the food is great and I love their carbonara.
